Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) and the Social Media Awards during #DCWEEK in Washington, DC. On Jun 15th, a select group of local DC metro businesses were honored with an award in categories such as Best Use of Twitter or Facebook. NVTC and Welz & Wesiel, a PR/Communications firm, formed a partnership for NVTC Social Media Committee in ealry March 2010. The first SMA awards held at K Street Lounge in downtown Washington, DC.
