Social Media Photography: 4sqDay Gaithersburg
April 16th was declared as #4sqDay by social location app, Foursquare. In its third year, avid checkin fans celebrating in cities around the world. A global social media holiday!
Social Media Club Gaithersburg chapter launched its new addition to the SMC organization with @4sqMoco, the local Montgomery County account on Foursquare. Celebration kicked of at Dogfish Head Alehouse in Gaithersburg, MD with speakers Ann Bevans and Shannon Mouton. The day was important enough that Gaithersburg Mayor Sidney Katz stopped by with an official declaration of Foursquare Day with a plaque!
