Nakeva is the passionate she-tog and social engagement officer behind Nakeva Photography. She first started in photography learning film over 10 years ago but ended up stepping away from the camera to pursue interests in school and the U.S. Navy. At a career turning point, Nakeva realized she was using most left-brain thinking and had not used her artistic abilities to balance life. In 2008 she picked up a point-and-shoot and decided to shoot with it for a year before picking up a more professional camera to step back into the creative side.

The project went well and the passion for photography expanded for Nakeva. Photo shoots and demand came from events and fashion around the Washington, DC area. Nakeva can often be found with a camera in hand and the creative mind ready to snap an opportunity. Always learning and improving the art and signature style of her photography, Nakeva is the photographer with passion and social skills to bring life in photo projects.
